eHerkenning
eHerkenning is a secure and reliable login that can be used to log in on behalf of an organization to log in to Tax and Customs Administration. Each person who needs to log in on behalf of your organization or your business clients should be given their own eHerkenning token. For foreign organizations without a registration with the Chamber of Commerce, there is the possibility to apply for eHerkenning based on Tax number from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration.
What are Chain Authorizations?
A chain authorisation allows an organization to authorize another organization to log in with eHerkenning on their behalf. In this way, an intermediary can log in on behalf of a client and the intermediary’s client does not need eHerkenning itself.
Customers registered in the Netherlands can do so via the number with which the organization is registered in the Chamber of Commerce. A foreign organization that does not have a Chamber of Commerce number can issue a Chain Authorization based on the 9-digit tax number of the Tax and Customs Administration.
Why chain authorizations from Z login?
Z login offers intermediaries the ability to create automatically generated contracts via our online portal, which can be emailed directly to clients. For this, the intermediary must first apply for eHerkenning and register one or more administrators. The administrators get access to our Management Module and have the ability to use all functionalities for intermediaries. Users can also be registered. Users are registered by administrators and can only log in for the clients to whom the administrator links the users.

- Apply for eHerkenning Level 3 (EH3) for your organization and register administrators:
– Are you registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce? Apply for eHerkenning Level 3 here.
– Are you a foreign organization and not registered with the Chamber of Commerce but known to the Dutch Tax Authorities with a tax number? Apply for eHerkenning Level 3 here. - Request a proposal for using chain authorizations in the Management Module:

- Send the contracts online to your clients in 5 steps.
- Clients send the signed contract along with a copy of an Identification document and a document showing who is authorized to sign on behalf of your organization.
- Login with eHerkenning on behalf of the client.
